You’ll be a leader of the Product Management team delivering the core tools and services property managers need to run and scale their businesses. You’ll work closely with the Executives and Leaders at Buildium to ensure organizational alignment and provide the status of development. You’ll leverage customer knowledge, data, and analytics to help the Product Team make informed prioritization decisions and drive the direction of the product portfolio.

What you'll do:

• Lead and mentor a growing team of product managers
• Leverage deep customer knowledge, internal stakeholders expertise, and sales feedback to develop a product strategy and prioritized execution plan 
• Communicate product strategy and feature updates to senior leadership, key stakeholders, and team members
• Maintain awareness of the changing competitive landscape and develop strategies and tactics to address competitive risk and maximize product advantage
• Drive execution of the product life cycle from discovery through customer adoption 
• Define and drive KPIs for product performance 
• Conduct customer and non-customer research in order to understand customer needs and delighters 
• Collaborate with Engineering, User Experience, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure our product continuously delivers value to our customers
• Be the product “expert” and point person for all cross-functional questions or concerns

Who you are:

• Experience managing teams with a strong bias towards coaching and mentoring
• 7-10+ years of software product management experience
• A successful influencer who is highly collaborative supported by excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
• History of developing successful product visions and strategies
• The ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve success and lead in a flexible, detail-oriented, fast-paced team environment
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into product features
• A solid understanding of modern design principles and research methods 
• Experience working in an Agile work environment
• Experience in a SaaS environment preferred
