Director, Product Management, KyruusOne

First and foremost, Kyruuvians care deeply about our vision to enable human beings to care for human beings, our mission, and our CORE values:

  • Caring – We care about our clients, their patients, and each other.
  • Ownership – We own our success and have the courage to make decisions.
  • Respect – We respect and enjoy each other's journey, experiences, and gifts.
  • Empowerment – We empower our team, our clients, their providers and patients to make the right decisions.

Here’s what that would mean for you in the Director, Product Management role.

Caring

You’ll execute on the mission and vision by ensuring the strategic goals are supported by our products. You’ll spend significant time in the field, especially with users, to set the vision for offerings that solve meaningful problems for our customers. You’ll work closely with our Product Design, Engineering, and Delivery teams to turn those ideas into compelling reality.

Ownership

  • You’ll enable end-to-end success of a portfolio of our products through build, launch, implementation, and support. You’ll engage cross-functionally with our Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Delivery teams on a daily basis.
  • You’ll define, prioritize, and maintain product roadmaps for an Agile team setting. You’ll quarterback Kyruus-wide customer discovery, validation, and creation efforts.
  • You’ll recruit, hire, coach, and develop amazing product managers.
  • You’ll leverage user science tools to increase Product Management’s value and strongly influence our long-term product strategy.
  • You’ll engage with customers on their strategic objectives. You’ll regularly conduct customer and market research to inform our current and future product investments.
  • Your typical day will include one-on-ones with direct reports, coaching agile teams through user stories and roadmap developments, recruiting activities, and communicating up, down, and across to your fellow Kyruuvians.
  • You’ll report to the Vice President, Product Management in the Product Management department within the R&D - Product division.

Respect

How You’ll Use Your Professional Skills

You’ll use your 15+ years experience in enterprise Saas and/or healthcare product management to:

  • Drive multi-product strategy cross-functionally with no or minimal help
  • Ask the right questions of, and listen actively, to our users, our customers, and the market
  • Negotiate and identify priorities, trade offs, and timelines for your product roadmaps
  • Connect business goals to product roadmap goals, and vice versa.

You’ll use your management skills to:

  • Leverage your team to get things done, get them done well, and celebrate them when they do
  • Build a shared vision and enthusiasm with our customers and internal teams
  • Proactively solve potential problems with other teams, avoiding unnecessary conflict
  • Create an inclusive environment where your direct reports and peers feel motivated to succeed.

For the KyruusOne platform, which is the data foundation for our applications, we are particularly interested in candidates with the following types of experience:

  • Worked on developing/productizing a data management platform
  • Experience defining/developing administrative products or functionality (RBAC, roles, SSO, etc)
  • Domain experience in data pipelines, enterprise data operations/ orchestration, and data governance/security
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and supporting deployments into IT ecosystems

  Empowerment

How You’ll Know You’re Succeeding

  • You maintain a keen awareness of our competitive landscape in the marketplace.
  • You visit customers (at least once per quarter) and conduct market research regularly. Travel will probably take up about 20% of your time.
  • You define, measure, and evangelize the value and ROI for each product area in your portfolio. You connect it all through analytics.

Where You’ll Go From Here

  • Kyruuvians in the Director, Product Management role can move in a more linear career path to a Senior Director, Product Management position (overseeing larger teams/product portfolios).
  • Kyruus also loves to see an internal transfer. If a linear career path is not what you’re looking for, you can work with you manager and HR to explore lateral moves to other parts of the organization as you continue to grow with us.

An Insider's view of Kyruus Health

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Kyruus encourages an exceptional work life balance. Unlimited PTO is just the beginning. Managers and coworkers encourage you to take time off and fully disconnect from work, jumping in to assist wherever they can. My favorite thing is that employees are allowed to interpret "remote first environment" on their own terms

Akieva

Total Rewards Associate II

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

My team collaborates with many other departments at Kyruus. We work with Product during the scoping phases of the development cycle, we work with Implementation during deployment, and we work closely with Engineering after Go-Live. We depend on these collaborations, and more, in order to provide the best possible experience to our customer

Ken

Senior Director, Customer Support

What are some things you learned at the company?

Kyruus has taught me things both in my personal & professional life. Professionally, I’ve learned how to adapt & succeed in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing. Personally, I’ve learned that the people and company I work for matters. I can do accounting anywhere—it’s the people I work with and the culture that makes me love my job

Lauren

Senior Accountant

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We talk a lot about thinking out of the box and putting our business hats on. I truly see the People team in service of the business but an integral part of the success of the business. Creativity and innovation aren't just reserved for engineers and marketers, the more creative we are in the People space, the more engaged our employees are

Paige

Chief People Officer

What projects are you most excited about?

My team is currently working on a project that will allow patients to check themselves in to their appointment without needing a staff member. I'm excited to continue to iterate on this because it will free up time for the front desk staff, shorten lines at the practice, and benefit the patient to easily check themselves in on their own device
