Jobcase is looking for a Director of Product Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and statistical background, bring a relentless quantitative focus, and come with a drive to unlock insights to continually optimize engagement, retention, and other key metrics. This role will closely partner with our Product team to define the usage of analytics as part of the product lifecycle and uncover insights that inform our product roadmap.

While this is a management position, this role also requires a significant amount of individual contributor work as an analyst. The right candidate for this role will be willing to roll up their sleeves and dive into the data as needed while also leading and establishing standards and best practices for the team.

What you’ll be doing here:

• Hire, mentor, and lead a group of analysts and data scientists in uncovering insights that inform our product roadmap and move key metrics
• Develop a culture of rigor and excellence in analytics, define the analytics role in working cross-functionally as part of the product development lifecycle, and tie the use of analytics to business impact
• Build a deep understanding of our users through cohort analyses, user segmentation, and (much) more
• Design and implement experiments to unlock growth and enhance the Jobcase user experience
• Develop methodologies to answer key business questions and communicate findings across the organization
• Define, build, and analyze metrics and reporting that shows the state of our business and development of our products

About you and your skills:

• Demonstrated success leading an analytics team and working with business stakeholders to drive growth, retention, revenue, or other key metrics
• Advanced ability in SQL and experience in at least one additional scripting language (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
• Knowledge of experimental design (including but not limited to A/B testing), principles of causal inference, and statistical techniques (e.g., regression, clustering)
• A rigorous, quantitative approach to problem-solving and a drive to optimize existing processes
