If you have a passion for improving clinical outcomes and decreasing healthcare costs at the intersection of Clinical Care and Technology, Cricket Health wants to meet you!
We’re looking for a mission-driven clinician to join us in improving the lives of people with kidney disease. This individual will be part of the Product organization and report to the Chief Product Officer. As a cross-functional role, the successful candidate will work closely with the data, engineering and clinical teams at Cricket Health.
We are looking for a trained clinician who has made the transition into product management and would like to further their career in Product Management by owning the design and implementation of the suite of clinical programs and interventions at Cricket Health. You will be responsible and accountable to the on-time, on-goal delivery of our clinical programs, including coordination across our operational clinical teams and the Chief Medical Officer.
This includes our CKD and ESRD interventions and extends into the commonly associated co-morbidities (CHF, Diabetes, Hypertension) as well as Social Determinants of Health (SDoH). While you will primarily focus on the effective and efficient deployment of our multidisciplinary care and remote interventions at scale, this role additionally requires a deep understanding of patient behavior and goals. The successful implementation of a clinical program will touch most of the stakeholders from the patient to providers.
You will be required to travel approximately 20% of the time. The position is open to candidates working out of our Boston office or remote employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define the business requirements, workflow implications, business model impact, and other business, clinical and operational metrics to evaluate the clinical performance of the organization
  • Create detailed designs and specifications that document the desired user experience, working within teams to support implementation efforts from concept to delivery
  • Maintain high-quality standards for design and work with engineering and QA to ensure designs are implemented to specification
  • Have responsibility for the delivery of clinical interventions that deliver measurable improvements in clinical outcomes and healthcare cost reduction for clients across our product portfolio
  • Work closely with the clinical teams at Cricket to infuse the best of medical evidence into clinical interventions and educational content
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product delivery teams and SMEs to define business models, build product requirements, and deliver effective products our members love
  • Conduct market and user research both independently and in collaboration with other teams and make data-driven decisions throughout the product lifecycle and in stakeholder management
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps
  • Serve as an internal advocate for clinical interventions
  • Lobby effectively for strategy buy-in and internal resource allocation, as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ progressive product management responsibility for software or service delivery products, with a history of leading strategic solution development and influencing clinical decision-making
  • 2+ years of clinical experience caring for persons with chronic conditions
  • Familiarity with cardiometabolic conditions, especially diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and behavioral health
  • Past product management or other related experience in a healthcare, digital health, or healthcare IT business
  • Strong familiarity with the major players and incentives that impact how clinical decisions are made and paid for in healthcare today – including payors, pharmacies, labs, and providers
  • Candidates who have lead clinical multi-disciplinary teams through the decision-making and prioritization process will be specially considered, as will those that have been through a regulated software process (such as a FDA 510k) and other regulated environments, or any candidate who has experience delivering a tech-enabled clinical service

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Stock options + extended option exercise window
  • Health, dental and vision
  • 401k retirement savings plan
  • Competitive vacation

An Insider's view of Cricket Health

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

We are highly motivated people tackling one of the hardest problems in healthcare. When we are in the office, we dare mighty things. But we also treasure our lives outside the office. Whether that means being able to work from home when a kid is sick, leave early to catch a game or just hang out with friends, we make sure we all find that balance.

Bobby

Chief Administrative Officer

How does the company support your career growth?

Working in lean teams allows employees to step up and take on new responsibilities. I’ve learned about different parts of the business through a wide variety of projects. High exposure to senior management encourages career growth through formal and informal interactions.

Shane

What is your vision for the company?

Cricket Health combines the best of what seasoned clinicians can do with smart technology to provide the best care possible for patients with chronic kidney disease, no matter the obstacles. It's tech that augments the human connection, not try to replace it.
