We have offices in Berlin, Boston, and Zurich and we’re looking for a new teammate to join us in our Boston office to help us take Baze and our product to the next level. Founded in 2014, we're the only company in our space working with, rather than around, the science. Currently, we’re operating in the US market and a key focus of this role will be to help expand our ability to deliver value to customers in our core market. The role

Baze is looking for a talented and experienced leader to develop and execute a product strategy that will continue to keep Baze at the forefront of the personalized nutrition industry. If you are excited about the challenge of developing a product rests heavily on deep and rigorous science, while simultaneously and effortlessly being empathetic to user needs with realistic expectations, then this is the role for you. The ideal candidate is not threatened by the complexity of a product with multiple physical touchpoints that are tied together by a digital app and strives for excellence to develop the best ideas to help our users live healthier and happier lives. If this sounds like you, we would love to have you join our management team of business experts and scientists to expand our product vision and make it your own.

In this role, you will own our product roadmap process and will bring multiple product development streams in alignment: from packaging, to logistics, to integrating new means of tracking and diversifying our actionable nutrient solutions. And all of it has to be reflected in our digital product facets in order to allow our users to experience a coherent user journey and help them building habits towards better health.

Here’s who we’re looking for

  • You have 3-5+ years experience as a CPO or have led product at a multi-national, fast-growing, venture-capital-funded startup.
  • You are able to build strong empathy for user demands and prioritize, structure and align product roadmaps accordingly.
  • You are an exceptionally strong leader who lets everybody around you feel safe, self-fulfilled and elevates others to higher levels of achievement
  • You can focus, organize and prioritize in very complex settings and guide others to do so.
  • You have vast practical experience with the ups and downs of agile methodologies. Bringing in a design thinking mindset is a strong plus.
  • You have a passion for health and wellness and are excited by the opportunity to build a product that will allow people to live healthier, happier lives.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Together with your team of product, service and content designers, you’ll be responsible for building, organizing and aligning the future product roadmap and constantly monitor and improve the existing product.
  • You will engage and communicate with the company's CMO, CTO and COO on a peer level. You’ll report directly to the CEO.
  • You will structure, guide and execute ideation processes in a highly heterogeneous environment.
  • You are responsible for the requirement-engineering, as well as buildup and fostering of the product backlog
  • You will collect user feedback from the markets where we have launched and streamline it into the product development cycle. For that, you will closely engage with our local teams.
  • Despite all agility, you will stick to the highest quality standards and make sure that your eye catches any imprecision in design, functionality, communication or workflow.
  • You are anytime able to communicate your ideas and progress to any stakeholder in a clear, approachable and appealing way and, accordingly, create commitment.
  • Ultimately, you are responsible for shipping new product iterations in time.
