TripAdvisor provides a unique, global work environment that captures the speed, innovation and excitement of a startup, at a thriving, growing and well-established industry brand. At TripAdvisor, you will be part of a dynamic, fun, and energetic team where you can immediately make meaningful contributions.

Are you passionate about travel? Do you love finding creative solutions to problems and contributing to a team working on an industry-leading product? If so, we would like to talk to you about joining our Product Development team.
TripAdvisor is hiring an Associate Product Manager, Sales & Acquisition, to lead initiatives in the Cruise business unit, including Cruise Critic, the world’s largest cruise reviews website. In this role, you will be responsible for working with and sometimes leading a cross-functional team from business requirements to post-launch analysis.
The role will require interacting with a wide variety of teams including Sales, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, and other internal Product teams to ensure a best-in-class experience for consumers and advertisers alike. It will also require frequent communication with external clients.
The ideal candidate sits comfortably at the intersection between business, technology and sales, with experience in at least one, passion for all three, and fluency with practitioners in all. This position is based in our Ewing, NJ office.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the day-to-day CPC and Display advertising businesses

  • Work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams to execute on a product roadmap, create product definitions, establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the key performance indicators of the business
  • Manage prioritization of new feature enhancements and bug/fixes
  • Managing product and content releases (including QA)
  • Take calculated, smart risks to push the envelope. Sometimes these risks will fail (which is ok), but you will learn from these risks and continue to push the product forward to meet aggressive KPIs

Additional role requirements:

  • Entrepreneurial passion and innovative mindset
  • Technical interest or background, engineering or analytics background a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Results oriented
  • Experience with agile development and teams
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a team-player and a history of collaborative success
  • Must be able to perform customary physical duties and meet appropriate social expectations of a professional office environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
