We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our ASICS Global Digital Product Team and help us deliver membership to a global audience. This associate product manager will work with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to build out digital experiences that support our global membership program.

This person will work very closely and collaboratively with our engagement and marketing teams to gather requirements for, triage, and develop software that supports customer acquisition and retention projects. This person would need to think holistically about how we can craft compelling membership experiences that bridge the gap between our ecommerce, retail, fitness apps, and brand partner experiences.

We pride ourselves on being user-centric in all that we do. And this isn’t just lip service. We actually walk the walk when it comes to understanding user problems and/or frustrations, validating solutions, and acting on user feedback. We empower individuals to take ownership over choosing how to achieve our overall goals and objectives. Our team strongly values curiosity, kindness, and honesty. We enjoy challenging ourselves with new problems and emerging technologies, we care about offering valuable products and services that help both our customers and other ASICS employees, and we trust each other to be honest about challenges so that we can overcome them as a team.

ASICS Digital is a global division of ASICS based in Boston, Massachusetts. We create and bring to market cutting-edge digital consumer experiences, apps and products for all ASICS brands. • Define product specifications, establish milestones, and manage quality assurance activities for a cross-functional team.
  • Define success metrics for new projects and track daily performance for existing products to ensure the team is moving towards defined goals.
  • Provide operational support, triage issues, and prioritize improvements for existing membership services.
  • Partner with a project manager to manage a cross-functional team and ensure the timely delivery of quality software products and the sustenance of team morale.
  • Help coordinate team ceremonies, such as daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Work with the design team to improve the UI that articulates the product vision.
  • Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.
  • Prioritize a backlog for a dedicated scrum team and report back to the organization on team performance.

What You've Done

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with or as part of a consumer-facing software development team. Experience working as a product manager is a plus, preferably as part of a global organization.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders of varying seniority and backgrounds. Equal enthusiasm for high-level strategic planning and tactical daily execution.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills – from product specifications, to JIRA tickets, to stakeholder presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues.
  • Ability to advocate for quality, strategic work that aligns with business goals and deadlines.
  • A self-starter who is confident and able to move projects forward with little direction.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools. Agile, scrum and kanban experience preferred.
  • An understanding of the Mobile landscape and experience with app development a plus.
