Are you an entrepreneurial person who yearns to operate in a product management role and in doing so is ready to help take the TripAdvisor Flight brand to the next level? TripAdvisor is seeking an Associate Product Manager to work on the day-to-day product development efforts on our Flights vertical. This role will support the services that help power search results and advertising across all platforms – desktop, tablet, phone web and native app.
As an Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for working with, and sometimes leading, a cross-functional team from business requirements to post-launch analysis. The role will also require interaction with a wide variety of teams including Marketing, Business Development, Operations, and other internal Product teams to ensure a best-in-class experience for our consumers.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute on a product roadmap, create product definitions, establish milestones and manage the implementation and evolution of the product development cycle
  • Develop fully detailed specs that include use cases, requirements, goals and page mock-ups for new mobile features
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the key performance indicators of the business
  • Manage prioritization of new feature enhancements and bug/fixes
  • Managing product and content releases (including QA)
  • Take calculated, smart risks to push the envelope. Sometimes these risks will fail (which is ok), but you will learn from these risks and continue to push the product forward to meet aggressive KPIs

Additional role requirements:

  • Entrepreneurial passion and innovative mindset
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a B2C product management role
  • Results oriented
  • Experience with agile development and teams
  • Metrics focused and driven. Analytical
  • Experience in QA, release cycles and content review/moderation
  • Mobile experience a plus
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Must be a team-player and a history of collaborative success
  • Must be able to perform customary physical duties and meet appropriate social expectations of a professional office environment
