Department Overview

The product team at Wellframe is responsible for ensuring our product delivers value to our internal and external stakeholders. We strive to help our care managers and patients optimally accomplish their goals, while enabling internal teams in client services, clinical, and analytics to interact with the product in ways that complement their services delivery. Our responsibilities range from product strategy to daily management of the product, and ongoing process refinement. We strive to deliver iterative product improvements throughout a product lifecycle that leverages a combination of Agile and Lean, and is both heavily data and design-driven.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly versatile product management professional with a proven track record of delivering value in product / SaaS health care organizations. Because you will contribute across all facets of our product, you will need to have a strategic mind, not shy away from the details, collaborate effectively across the organization, and demonstrate strong problem-solving. Help our team deliver continuous product improvements that enable customer, patient, and company success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Wellframe leadership to understand customer and company priorities, and strategize on how to evolve aspects of the product to meet those needs.
  • Uncover care manager, patient, and internal stakeholder needs through qualitative interviews, site visits, and quantitative research and analysis.
  • Partner with Design to establish an experience and detailed design for product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to write, track and test user stories in a highly Agile product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate releases, develop timelines, and oversee development of new product concepts.
  • Communicate for transparency by sharing product plans.
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure Go To Customer plans are in place to communicate value to internal and external audiences.
  • Become an expert on the care management industry, our strategy, roadmap, product, customers, and data. Provide product subject matter expertise and leadership.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement projects.
  • Relentlessly leverage data and analysis to justify decisions and validate product experiments.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or closely related field of study.
  • 5+ years of product management experience; industry certification preferred
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum, Lean preferred
  • Deep knowledge of payers, providers, and the health care landscape
  • A passion for health, health care, and innovation
  • Strong leadership, pragmatism, problem-solving, collaboration and communication skills
  • Works well independently and effectively in fast-paced, agile start-up environment
  • Must be Boston-based or willing to relocate
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10%
