Job Description

Intrepid helps hundreds of companies create mobile solutions that meet their users’ needs. Doing this well requires many smart people - big idea generators and a whole host of people to bring those ideas to life. The Product Manager is critical for successful product creations and launches. It is the Product Manager who truly brings a client’s idea to life. They deeply understands the client’s business needs, the client’s users and what defines success and can communicate these concepts to the internal development team in such a way that they can execute and meet these goals.

They will work intimately with our clients and our internal development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, both at a strategic level and at the user story level.


YOUR ROLE: Product Manager

  • Act as an advisor to clients; deeply understanding their definition of success
  • Deeply understand mobile solutions and products to be developed
  • Work closely with Project Managers to manage scope, timeline and budget
  • Write detailed user stories and crafts acceptance criteria
  • Actively guide the development team to build the client’s ideal product
  • Ensure a product or set of product features meets business requirements
  • Demonstrate responsibility for end-to-end customer journey and experience
  • Act as a key member of the transition from sales/strategy to development
  • Work on a cross functional team with other roles such as Product Strategists, Developers, Designers, QA, etc

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience, ideally working in client services
  • Bachelor’s degree 

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager or Business Analyst
  • Notable prioritization skills & ability to proactively manage scope
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to prioritize trade-offs
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at various levels of an organization
