The Program Manager for Citizens Private Wealth is responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the Private Wealth platform, improve client experience, and drive consistent sales and investment execution across the organization. This role operates at the intersection of Wealth Leadership, Private Banking, Commercial Banking, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Sales Enablement.

The Program Manager ensures that key business priorities — including platform enhancements, operating model evolution, CRM optimization, partnership integration, and incentive alignment — are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to Citizens’ broader enterprise strategy. This individual acts as a central coordinator and strategic driver, ensuring Private Wealth initiatives are implemented with discipline, transparency, and measurable impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Program Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives impacting Citizens Private Wealth.
  • Translate strategic priorities (growth, client experience, advisor productivity, partnership integration) into structured program roadmaps.
  • Establish governance structures, milestone tracking, and executive reporting for major initiatives.
  • Identify interdependencies across Private Bank, Commercial Bank, Retail Distribution, and Wealth Management teams.
     

2. Operating Model & Platform Execution

  • Support ongoing evolution of the Citizens Private Wealth operating model.
  • Drive execution of platform enhancements including:
    • CRM (Salesforce) optimization
    • Referral tracking and transparency
    • Incentive plan implementation
    • Product platform expansion
    • Workflow and onboarding improvements
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to ensure solutions align with advisor workflow and client experience.

 

3. Sales & Advisor Enablement

  • Partner with field leadership to ensure consistent execution of sales and investment strategies.
  • Implement reporting dashboards for:
    • AUM growth
    • Pipeline tracking (short, medium, long-term)
    • Referral conversion
    • Professional services revenue
  • Improve Salesforce adoption and data integrity across advisor teams.
  • Coordinate training and change management initiatives for new processes and tools.

 

4. Partnership Integration (Enterprise Alignment)

  • Serve as liaison between Private Wealth and:
    • Private Banking
    • Commercial Banking
    • Business Banking
    • Retail Distribution
  • Identify and resolve partnership friction points.
  • Develop tracking mechanisms for inbound/outbound referrals.
  • Enhance transparency and accountability across referral channels.

 

5. Incentive & Performance Management Support

  • Partner with Finance and Leadership to support incentive plan rollout and administration.
  • Monitor performance metrics relative to scorecard objectives.
  • Provide leadership with actionable reporting on production, flows, revenue mix, and profitability.
  • Identify gaps between incentive structure and business behavior and recommend improvements.

 

6. Governance, Risk & Compliance Coordination

  • Ensure all programs align with compliance, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance on supervisory model enhancements.
  • Establish controls and documentation standards for new initiatives.

 

7. Executive Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare executive-level materials for:
    • Wealth Leadership Meetings
    • COO updates
    • Board-level reporting (as needed)
  • Provide clear visibility into program status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Present recommendations with financial and strategic impact analysis.

Qualifications & Education:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in wealth management, banking, financial services, or enterprise program management
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Private Wealth, Private Banking, and Commercial Banking dynamics
  • Experience with CRM systems and performance reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

 

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40

  • Work Schedule: M-F

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $144,000 - 185,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
