Principal Product Manager AI/ML Initiatives

eClinical Solutions helps life sciences organizations around the world accelerate clinical development initiatives with expert data services and the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud – the foundation of digital trials. You will make an impact: 

As the Principal Product Manager AI/ML Initiatives, you will be responsible for being an integral part of the development and delivery of our elluminate® software product. This Product Manager role will be assigned to our AI/ML initiatives. As such this position is key for developing customer/market-driven technical requirements and specifications for solutions that leverage AI/ML to address clinical development challenges, creating product development road maps, and defining and analyzing product success metrics.

Your day to day: 

• Gain a deep understanding of unmet customer/market needs; identify AI/ML based approaches to automate and accelerate delivery of solutions addressing clinical development challenges; fill product gaps and generate new ideas/products that grow market share; improve customer experience; and drive revenue growth 
• Translate product strategy into technical requirements and specifications 
• Document requirements via creation of Agile methodology aligned Epics and User Stories 
• Participate in Triage sessions, Sprint Planning, and Backlog grooming sessions 
• Develop metrics to assess the success of product and features and determine necessary enhancements 
• Scope and prioritize product development activities based on business and customer impact 
• Work closely with the engineering team to deliver quick time-to-market development using optimal resources  
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the product 
• Manage product delivery through Agile development, lead product documentation and create and manage project plans to deliver with accuracy and on schedule  
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree in data science, or in a related discipline preferred 
• 10 + years of proven experience in enterprise software product management preferred  
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions for supervised and unsupervised approaches 
• Experience determining data that can be used for ground truthing 
• Experience designing and implementing solutions that incorporate NLP 
• Knowledge of the pharma and life sciences 
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle 
• Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management 
• Self-motivated to prioritize and manage 
• Experience with Agile 
• Experience with enterprise software that utilizes AI/ML/NLP 
• Must have understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development 
• Specialized knowledge in AI/ML or closely related skill set 
• Must have strong technical aptitude
