Lovepop is looking for an ambitious design/fabrication intern for the summer term to help create and evolve the future of our Physical Experiences team. We’d love to find someone with a balance of great design sensibilities, practical skills in building and fabrication, and a desire to improve customers’ direct experience of the Lovepop brand. This position is full-time, paid, and for credit. It requires working with a range of departments, most notably Physical Experiences, but also interfacing with our Retail, Wholesale, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

• Ability to create vector illustrations for prototyping applications (for laser, CNC)
• Ability to design in Rhino 3D for display proposals
• Highly detail oriented
• Ability and comfort using a wide range of wood shop and machining tools Ability to apply new information quickly
• Experience with preparing drawings/CAD files for production
• Great hands-on skills and confident in building a range of projectsGoal driven and excited to do whatever it takes to get to the best possible design
• Big projects on a quick turnaround get you stoked
• Experience with the Adobe suite, mainly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

You'll do great if

• Have experience in a wood shop and/or machine shop
• Have experience using a laser cutter and/or CNC router
• Have a love for Lovepop!
