Leader Insurance is not your typical agency. We have begun to build out our digital approach to a modernized agency by bringing the financial support, tech focused culture, and white glove approach you would expect to receive from a Fintech/Insuretech company to our agency. We have leveraged Vertafore's open API tech stack for systems to deliver our clients and our team members the best service.
We are looking for a licensed Personal Insurance Sales Producer to work closely with our residential lending team on internal new purchase referrals. This will be a salaried and commissioned position.
Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries for new policies. Advise bank customers on their insurance needs. Prepare quotes for coverages and carriers appropriate to their needs.
  • Place new business with carriers in a manner that optimizes member needs and agency profitability.
  • Educate members concerning coverage selection, limitations/exclusions, and insurance products and procedures.
  • Complete new business applications and transition new insurance customers to service team.
  • Consultative approach to provide expertise to customers regarding carriers, coverage, products, systems, and procedures.
  • Be able to meet a monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.


Qualifications

  • Property/casualty producer's license required.
  • 1 - 4 years' experience in a personal insurance sales role.
  • Working knowledge of rating and underwriting personal lines products.
  • Knowledge of property and casualty products and agency carriers.
  • Agency experience preferred.
