The VP of Loyalty has a primary responsibility of owning loyalty & personalization data-driven strategy and development. They will work to optimize our loyalty programs in partnership with the local brands of ADUSA.  

 

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role  

  • Lead a team of loyalty professionals enabling a data driven approach to maintain and continuously evolve existing loyalty and subscription programs across 5 brands. 
  • Develop a vision and roadmap for our next generation loyalty/subscription programs working in co-operation with analytics, product, marketing and in partnership with brands. 
  • Oversee and direct 3 Directors in setting priorities, goals, and objectives across teams.   
  • Responsible for end to end loyalty and personalization programs i.e. loyalty program mechanics, personalization, end to end digital campaign planning and delivery, offer set-up and delivery, measurement and continuous improvement. 

 

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients  

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field; Master's degree preferred 
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience

 

Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table  

  • Significant experience leading campaign strategy, design, implementation and operations, preferably in Retail, in positions with increasing responsibility required 
  • Knowledge of omnichannel marketing campaigns 
  • Strategic focus with a bias for execution 
  • Abreast of latest industry trends and tech 
  • Exemplify 'leading the function' leadership capabilities (i.e. inspire people and groups, develop functions, mobilize with shared purpose, champion change, and shape function strategy) 
  • Embody our partnership behaviors (i.e. commit to shared outcomes, partner across boundaries, empower our people and teams, and team seamlessly) 
  • Candidate profile requirement with a mixture of both technical (analytically savvy, aptitude with all things data) as well as a strategic mindset 
  • Always has a close eye on competition in building and delivering a unique and differentiated offering for our customers  
  • Exhibits strength in commercial planning including vendor management from negotiations to effective delivery as well as sourcing new partners where applicable. 
  • Ensure the team develops and maintains the technological tools that enable loyalty execution and marketing operational excellence 
  • Shows creative flair, is innovative, knows how to get things done, implements a test and learn approach, continuous pursuit inside the mind of our customers 
  • Executive presence and ability to carry oneself with SVPs and EVPs across the business organization, effective storyteller and advocate “as the voice of the customer” to the executive team at ADUSA.
