VP, Underwriting Smart MPL + Cyber Insurance

Responsibilities
- You will work with the Chief Underwriting Officer to develop underwriting guidelines for one of the next insurance products at Corvus - Smart MPL + Cyber; this insurance product combines traditional Miscellaneous Professional Liability coverage with the Smart Cyber capabilities of Corvus including the production of our data analytics reports that we call Dynamic Loss Prevention reports.
- You will develop new business opportunities in MPL/Cyber
- You will manage a team of underwriters and assistant underwriters nationally
- You will develop data sources and risk scores with our data science and engineering teams using historical and real-time data from our proprietary cyber security database and vendors
Qualifications
- Eight years or more of underwriting commercial MPL Insurance
- Relationships with major brokers that produce opportunities in the Miscellaneous Professional Liability markets
- A desire to work with a fast-growing InsurTech innovator in Cyber Insurance
