In this role you will help business units drive toward alignment with overall corporate strategy through consulting services, project management, and cross-functional relationship building. You will support multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment, which have an immediate impact on critical enhancements within a growing organization. This position is primarily focused on building strategic alignment within Devo’s Sales organization and partnering with stakeholders to organize around sales-specific strategic programs.

In this role you will help business units drive toward alignment with overall corporate strategy through consulting services, project management, and cross-functional relationship building. You will support multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment, which have an immediate impact on critical enhancements within a growing organization. This position is primarily focused on building strategic alignment within Devo’s Sales organization and partnering with stakeholders to organize around sales-specific strategic programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic support responsibilities include:
    • Assist Sales leadership in the creation of a strategic roadmap that can be leveraged for managing trade offs and communicating expectations.
    • Facilitate consultative sessions with leaders to craft Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Encourage OKR tracking and follow through by providing coaching on the optimal reporting cadence.
    • Facilitate project scoping to include defining ownership, phases, milestones, timeline, and prioritization. Help leaders build project outlines as needed.
    • Streamline reporting within the Sales organization by coaching leaders toward a consistent format and cadence for KPI reporting. Define tools and processes to support this objective.
    • Act as a neutral third party in cross-functional meetings to broker collaboration and buy-in when necessary.
    • Build rapport with Sales leadership and maintain a monthly cycle of capturing feedback and reporting business insights.
    • Assist in the planning and facilitation of quarterly offsites for Sales teams.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned (including participating in cross-functional projects that impact the Sales organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Sales organization, preferably enterprise SAAS Sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a collaborative atmosphere with distributed roles and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the “why” behind an initiative to gain buy-in.
  • Demonstrated ability to approach complex cross-functional problems with high levels of flexibility and readiness to adjust approach dynamically
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal stakeholders with various roles, skills, and capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate processes and tools to pivot service delivery and improve future projects.
  • Excellent internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including the ability to track important details amongst frequent context switching
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (and/or comparable Google Suite tools)

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce, including extracting key analytics for leadership review.
  • Experience with project management processes and tools is a plus, as is Project Management certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II, Scrum Master, ACP, etc.

Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
