UNIVERSITY TRAINING PARTNER
We are looking for a University Training Partner to execute Professor Learning & Curriculum Adoption Activities for the Mendix University Program pipeline. This role will be measured on delivering successful outcomes to help achieve the University Program annual growth goals. This role reports to the Director, Education & University Programs.
As a Training Partner, you will be one of the first team-members of the Mendix University Program team - a startup within a startup. As part of this fast-paced, high-growth team, you will be responsible for introducing the Mendix technology to qualified, engaged professors, facilitating their learning of Mendix, and guiding them through the curriculum adoption process through to the first day of teaching Mendix in class.
**As part of both the interview process and the job, you'll be expected to successfully:
1. Learn our Platform
2. Build an App
3. Conduct a 10 minute Demo of the platform
4. Teach someone how to build an app using our platform
If hired, you’ll help structure and scale this department by designing and managing training experiences to drive professor Mendix certifications:
o Get Professors officially signed up & prepared to begin teaching Mendix in curriculum for each upcoming semester.
o Curriculum Design - create Workshop & Training Class Materials for use at Faculty workshops & Workshops & Tutorials @ quarterly Events
o Training Facilitation & Delivery – deliver in-person training to professors and faculty in 1:many settings around the world. Polished delivery, room management, create excellent attendee learner experience.
o Create workshop content and material
o Deliver Faculty Workshops - facilitate in-person training
o Develop Reusable materials to help professors learn Mendix
o Facilitate self-service learning through webinars, videos and other on-demand
o Create nurturing content and marketing automation materials guiding the professor through week-by-week nurturing to learn 1 topic at a time in Mendix (includes 1.) videos to learn the feature/functionality, and 2.) assignment instructions
o Manage pipeline of engaged professors – establish and maintain/monitor reporting in salesforce (and other systems) & optimize conversion metrics to achieve successful outcomes
Creating scalable curriculum adoption options:
o Conduct curriculum assessments of professors’ current courses & design customized curriculum that incorporates Mendix
o Sample Syllabus
o Sample assignments and projects
o Co-author & publish academic texts and academic white papers with professor co-authors
You’re the innovator we need if you have:
· Experience in instructional design or technical product training
· Excellent communication skills across all channels; digital, remote, phone, live and recorded video and audio, written, and in-person
· A passion for teaching
· A born content creator
· Highly analytical and metrics-driven
· Experience executing and optimizing marketing activities
· Digital skills and could learn and manage internal systems (Salesforce, Salesloft, Marketo, On24)
· Technical aptitude
