Technical Operations Supervisor
As Bullhorn’s Technical Operations Supervisor (Internally known as Tier III Support Engineering Supervisor), you will be responsible for a team that serves as the highest point of escalation for our clients in resolving the most complex technical and application-related inquiries. You will function as the leader of a crossroads group between various internal teams (engineering, development, support, professional services, sales engineering), ensuring that issues are solved efficiently and to the satisfaction of our customers. You will also be responsible for public communication around product maintenance, and application-impacting events.
As the Supervisor of Technical Operations Engineers, a typical day might include:
Managing and prioritizing a constantly changing queue of issues escalated to Tier 3, our Technical Operations Engineering team
Prioritizing and assigning tickets to your team of engineers, ensuring they adhere to internal SLAs
Coaching and training your team on problem solving, technical skills, and root cause analysis
Managing and coordinating internal & external communications for application incidents (P level incidents)
This job might be for you if you have:
3+ years experience training, growing and leading teams (including those with junior employees)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A talent for critical thinking, with the ability to analyze information accurately in order to make sound decisions
An ability to understand highly complex technical issues and communicate them to a non-technical audience
Bonus points for:
Experience with or understanding of relational databases, APIs, and email technology
Experience managing the development, deployment, or maintenance of web applications
