We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator with a team-player mentality to serve as the contact person for all matters concerning our internal IT. The ideal System Administrator will have a service-oriented attitude and a strong awareness of market and technology trends. It will be your responsibility to ensure that our IT infrastructure within our start-up environment is running smoothly. You will keep our company hardware and software up and running while sharing your skills and expertise with all colleagues. Your critical thinking skills and analytical approach toward problem-solving will be highlighted in this role. You will also be responsible for continuing work on process automation that allows us to grow faster and make things smarter. This is an in-office role based in Watertown, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Deployment, management and maintenance of Apple hardware and software
• Design, implementation and maintenance of the technical office infrastructure (conference room setups, AV technology, etc.)
• Network infrastructure design and management
• End users support
• Evaluation, implementation and maintenance of new products and software solutions
• Documentation and maintenance of internal systems, applications and processes
• Identity management, including the design and management of central directory and authentication systems
• Support data protection and the implementation and maintenance of security best practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• In-depth knowledge of Apple technologies
• MacOS terminal and scripting knowledge (bash, python, or similar)
• Experience with mobile device management, preferably JAMF
• Strong administrative skills with Atlassian products (Confluence & Jira)
• Strong English language skills, written and spoken
• Networking skills (subnetting, VLAN, VPN, etc.)
