We’re hiring a Strategy and Operations Manager to serve as a leader who can provide strategic guidance and operational support in key parts of HubSpot’s business. The scope of the role is broad which requires the Strategy and Operations Manager to quickly learn HubSpot’s business model and processes. The Strategy and Operations Manager will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with the COO.

The Strategy and Operations Manager will partner with senior HubSpot leaders to identify trends in the business, define a playbook to solve key problems, and partner cross-functionally to execute against the playbook. To be successful, the Strategy and Operations Manager should have an analytical mind with experience in project management and building relationships with key stakeholders. Communicating ideas effectively will be a critical part of the role.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide strategic and operational support for the General Manager of a HubSpot product line. Responsibilities will include:
    • Analyzing the health of the product line
    • Identifying strategic opportunities and areas for improvement
    • Working cross-functionally to execute against the vision set with the General Manager
  • Lead the execution of one of HubSpot’s core strategic initiatives. Responsibilities will include:
    • Providing strategic support for the leader of the initiative
    • Managing weekly meetings with the cross-functional team
    • Leading monthly check-ins with the executive team
    • Working across all business functions to ensure alignment and progress
  • Track, monitor, and address HubSpot’s performance against goals and targets

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience, MBA preferred
  • A strong business acumen and problem solving ability
  • Demonstrated impact in an operational role or leading the tactical execution of a strategy through project management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including with the executive team
  • Exceptional ability to build cross-functional business partnerships
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proficiency in SaaS economics and the market landscape
  • Self-starter with a high-affinity for identifying and solving problems
  • Expert-level Excel knowledge with experience using Business Intelligence tools (Looker a plus)
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Highly flexible in adapting to the needs of the team and organization
