We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Order Management Specialist to participate in our hardware development process. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple cross-functional projects in a fast paced startup environment

  • Review orders in a timely fashion for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policy
  • Notify accounting department of any non-standard terms noted during review of order documentation 
  • Collaborate with Sales team and customer to ensure appropriate order documentation
  • Resolve all backlog issues including order hold release, product configuration issues, item number discrepancies and missing purchase order requirements
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure accurate and timely product fulfillment
  • Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry in ERP system
  • Responsible for reporting accurate bookings and shipment information
  • Responsible for responding to internal and external customer inquiries
  • Responsible for maintaining company credit policies and procedures
  • Reviews status of aged and delinquent accounts facilitating collections
  • Assist the Sr Manager with adhoc requests and reporting
  • Interface with customers, sales and other departments regarding order issues
  • Work closely with manufacturing, freight forwarders and sales to ensure terms and conditions are properly met
  • Ensure on time booking of all order types
  • Provide timely order status and tracking information
  • Provides quarter and month end support as needed to achieve corporate goals 

Requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in technology environment with company’s selling hardware/software
  • Five (5) years experience in order entry management or accounting equivalent
  • Freight logistics and/or experience working with International import/export regulations required
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP order processing systems, Infor preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems SalesForce preferred
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be a positive, self-reliant team player with strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem resolution skills
  • Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize, multi-task, and handle multiple and changing priorities and to meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as follow-up skills to ensure financial transaction integrity 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
