Services Manager
The Services Manager is responsible for leading implementation service proposals, including defining the overall solution, the statement of work, associated estimates, resource and project planning and managing delivery of the agreed solution for small projects and customer orders. he role works collaboratively with the other lines of business, including Application and Technical Implementation Specialists, Agile Development Teams, Support, PMO, Sales, Legal, Project Managers and Senior Management to coordinate the various inputs necessary to meet the timelines associated with proposals and delivery.
The Services Manager will have interactions with the broader InterSystems organisation in the course of their day to day proposal activities. As a data technology company, it is important to ensure that to the extent possible, the implementation services are in support of core application product and not focused on custom development. The linkage to Product Development is critical in ensuring that solutions and resultant Statements of Work are underpinned by an existing product capability or are aligned with a committed Product Roadmap. The role includes the promotion of the standard product solution, maximising product adoption, enhancing customer product knowledge through knowledge transfer and limitation of customer specific customisation.
The Services Manager is responsible for the interactions directly with the customer and/or relevant stakeholders as part of the proposal development. The nature and extent of this engagement will vary depending on the scale of the opportunity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supporting services opportunity management
- Experience working for a healthcare solutions provider
- Healthcare sector knowledge – particularly NHS
- Solution architect background (desirable)
