Workday Application Administrator
The Workday System Administrator will partner with Rapid7’s people strategy team to identify opportunities to facilitate scalable employee growth and process optimization. With an emphasis on cross-department processes, this role will be key in designing future state to bridge the gap between segmented applications.
Job Overview:
Maintain Workday security design, configuration, workflow, and security administration.
Lead weekly Workday change control meetings.
Coordinate and lead Workday mandatory upgrades; design and implement overall testing strategy.
Act as technical support for advanced Workday report writing (i.e., matrix reports, dashboards and composite reports).
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise reporting protocols.
Perform daily system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Assist with testing new business processes, application modifications, and updates.
Contribute and maintain operational, configuration, and other operating protocols.
Responsible for maintaining proper security to protect confidential information.
Identify opportunities to reduce recurring work where practical and improve performance or reduce risk.
Support the prioritization processes led by the HRIS Analyst.
Responsible for being knowledgeable on the Workday roadmap and upcoming product releases, reviewing release notes, assessing new features and understanding the impacts to the business processes and basic changes in functionality.
Participate in projects as needed.
Assume additional responsibilities as required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Five to seven years of relevant experience as an application administrator
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM and Payroll Management
Experience in high growth, fast paced environment
Applications acumen and technology prowess
Must have knowledge of Workday integrations (Studio, Core Connectors and Web Services)
Ability to understand business processes and requirements
Prefer experience in an information technology environment
Experience with agile delivery methods
Support cross departmental operational initiatives with implementations, reporting, process improvement and user training.
Savvy, quick thinking and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
