The Opportunity
Rapid7 is looking for an exceptional leader to join us as Sr. Manager of Strategy Planning & Operations. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Business Planning and Operations, a successful candidate will be a growth-minded, analytical and innovative individual that has a demonstrated track record of supporting company growth acceleration and long-term strategic impact
In this newly created and highly visible role, you will be able to help us build and evolve our operating and strategic management framework to positively impact Rapid7’s growth and scale. The Sr. Manager will work cross-functionally to support company-wide business planning efforts and strategic initiatives, and help spearhead new business and actions across our global Go-to-Customer organization aligned to our business priorities. S/he will focus on providing critical insights, ideas, and assessing forward looking strategies to activate and accelerate growth and effectiveness while maximizing customer success and retention.

Essential Responsibilities
Drive alignment and connectivity of Strategic, Business, and Product Practice annual and long range forward objectives and plans to the attainment of Multi-Year Priorities through actionable steps to near and long impact
Collaborate with Business Leadership to provide prioritization, governance, and oversight for our portfolio aligned with key priorities and business drivers
Assess operational health via dashboards and scorecards that measure objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead quantitative and qualitative evaluation of new and ongoing growth opportunities and partnering cross-functionally to create a centralized review, selection, and prioritization process across the Go-to-Customer organization
Orchestrate impact analysis of new and on-going initiatives and recommendations across product practices, sales, marketing, and customer success. Identify patterns and trends in both related and disparate data points.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align functional plans to business priorities, gather feedback, manage dependencies, and track performance
Monitor ongoing business performance and progression of ongoing projects and initiatives
Partner on the development and execution of cross functional Go-To-Customer projects and business transformation initiatives that maximize customer and market impact
Support annual and forward Business Planning and execution including assessments, routes to market, customer and market potential, and investment decisions
Assist with partnership strategies and direct/indirect business development initiatives
Lead ad-hoc operational and strategic projects as needed
Job Requirements
Undergraduate in Business, Finance or related field required; MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business planning, and/or management consulting
Demonstrated experience in business plan development, operational planning, analytics and strategy development, preferably in a fast-growing technology company
Superior quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. Demonstrated knowledge of strategic management frameworks with the ability to build clear and actionable strategy and GTM presentations
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to drive impact through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including establishing credibility, trust, and building influential relationships with partners in the business
Quick learner who is naturally curious and thrives in the face of the unexpected, ambiguity and change
Strong work ethic and customer service mentality
