Senior Manager, Global Category Management
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Category Management, this position is a critical leadership role on a transformational category management team focused on driving analytics and strategic support to SharkNinja’s global cross functional business partners across product development, retail, results optimization and proactive business insights. This role will be charged with building out the Global Category Management function and processes, understanding the shopper, retailer and consumer dynamics unique to each of our markets. This is an excellent position for a highly motivated, seasoned strategic team member who likes to work in a fast-paced environment and data driven atmosphere.
Core Responsibilities
- Support all Global Shark and Ninja direct regions - US, CA, UK, Germany, France and Japan, supporting regional expansion analysis and opportunity sizing
- Build and develop a team of analysts to provide an objective lens on the business – creating a check / balance for sales & marketing with market, category and shopper insights
- Partner with Product Development, Sales, Regional Teams and Marketing to perform analysis and provide recommendations for new category expansion outside of current portfolio, as well as expansion within existing categories, identifying incremental opportunities to drive the business
- Advance category management capabilities to our international markets, democratizing global data and analytics
- Promote and champion deeper understanding of the shopper, utilizing syndicated data and primary research (as needed) to enhance SharkNinja’s GTM strategy, including scoping 3rd party data capabilities to close knowledge gaps
- Leverage market data to develop compelling and insightful stories to support customer meetings; present insights and provide strategic point of view in internal/external meetings as well as ad hoc discussions as applicable

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience within analytics, category management and/or shopper insights
- Has led and developed teams of analysts
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges on the executive level
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
- Experience working with international teams a plus
