Company Description

You will act as both a trusted People advisor and strong FlyMate advocate, driving people initiatives and maintaining a strong and positive culture across the region. Currently, this includes supporting FlyMates in the U.S., Canada, and South America.

Job Description

The business operations (‘BizOps’) team at Flywire is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and solving the most critical business challenges in a fast paced environment. Our team uses a data driven and structured approach to drive company strategy across major business functions. We develop operational plans to enable innovative offerings and lead the execution against these recommendations. As part of the team, you will have the chance to lead critical projects end-to-end. This will include managing pivotal initiatives to presenting findings to Flywire’s leadership team! BizOps is supporting critical decisions for the future of Flywire and this role is an excellent opportunity if you want to lead the direction of a growing start up!

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and assessing the viability of new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and revenue optimization
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to the executive team and implementing these recommendations across various partners
  • Working cross-functionally to develop deep understanding of key value drivers to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance across all verticals
  • Drive alignment on priorities across key business functions (e.g. sales & marketing, product, finance, payment operations) through our strategic planning and OKR cycles
  • Enable Flywire to be highly data-driven as we scale by performing ad hoc analyses and building KPI dashboards for real-time monitoring of performance, investor relations, and fundraising
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (including the team, cross-functional partners, executives)

Qualifications

FlyMate Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 - 4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or business operations / analytics at a growth-stage startup
  • A bias for action, as well as a strong sense of practicality and efficiency
  • Strong data analysis, data modeling, slide writing and presentation skills; SQL experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with executive-level partners.
