Superpedestrian is seeking an experienced IT leader to help take our internal IT team to the next level. We are composed of a hardware and software product development team, as well as an extensive global operations team. Superpedestrian is a remote-first employer, but has multiple physical locations in cities where we operate our scooter share, as well as our HQ in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with leadership across the organization to plan the Superpedestrian’s forward-looking IT strategy
• Manage and coordinate all technology operations including IT infrastructure and internal applications, information security measures and SaaS applications.
• Manage and support all internal technology needs including help desk, office infrastructure, operation warehouse infrastructure, internally facing software, regular maintenance and upgrades.
• Manage internal teams of IT Support Engineers and source external resources as necessary given a seasonal business model
• Develop and maintain IT policies and operational procedures.
• Establish controls and ensure compliance with all industry best practices, including ISO27001
• Oversee business continuity and contingency planning for all technology and information systems.
• Experience with office network design and implementation
• Understanding of core networking concepts like VLANS, IPSec tunnels/Site to Site VPN/Client Based VPN, DNS, Switching & Routing, DHCP
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of IT systems and associated site infrastructure

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Able to work and lead in a cross-functional environment 
• 10+ years experience in IT, with some of that coming in a leadership role
• Ability to hire, build and maintain productive teams within an IT organization
