The IT auditor will be responsible for performing technology, cyber security, and compliance audits in the areas of design, efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls. The position schedules and plans audits, monitors fieldwork progress and communicates the results to senior management. This position will be responsible for auditing technology controls associated with Information Security Governance and Operations, Incident Response, Identity & Access Management, Data Privacy, Application Vulnerability Management, etc.

What you'll do:

  • Complete IT audits, controls consulting and special projects for IT areas including application controls, General IT Controls (systems development, change management, computer operations, networking, database management, security and emerging technologies), risk management, project management, governance and compliance
  • Complete or participate in operational, financial, compliance, and fraud investigations
  • Perform Risk and Controls Analysis of the audit area
  • Identify the audit scope and develop an audit program
  • Write and issue the engagement memo and prepare work papers
  • Drive kickoff meeting
  • Perform audit testing
  • Document test results and provide status updates
  • Obtain buy-in on recommendations and target completion dates
  • Develop the audit report; work with CAD management and CAE to finalize and issue to auditees
  • Complete Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other compliance duties including develop, maintain, monitor and report on the SOX.
  • Perform SOX risk assessment and scoping
  • Provide controls and testing guidance to domain owners and testers
  • Provide input to the year-end assessment, Work with external audit as liaison during engagement.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Auditing, or Accounting
  • 4+ years of auditing experience with a focus on IT
  • CISSP, CISA, CIA, or CPA or equivalent experience required
