Overview

The Mimecast End User Computing Analyst (EUC Analyst) needs to work well under pressure and be able to deliver and execute solutions timeously to ensure a flawless internal IT service delivery for Mimecast. Assist in the planning and maintenance of IT business systems at the various offices worldwide according to Mimecast Global specifications and local business requirements as well as provide efficient and effective support to local and global Mimecast employees using defined case management procedures.

You’ll join a passionate and talented team in an innovative IT company. We are currently recruiting for an internal Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. You will work with our tech-savvy staff to ensure the smooth running of their IT equipment and the systems they depend on. You’ll be an essential part of planned upgrades and improvements as we strive for perfection. You will need to possess outstanding communication skills and have an enthusiastic disposition. We are looking for someone with a proactive, team spirited attitude that can bring experience and initiative.

Responsibilities

·         Collaborate with existing vendors to evaluate the new technology that is available and make recommendations to management on using that technology.

·         Consult with Infrastructure departments to make sure that projects are in line with desktop support needs and strategies.

·         Monitor the performance of the company's desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.

·         Evaluate applications and software patches for desktop applications to see if they will solve desktop issues or vulnerabilities.

·         Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office and any other authorized desktop applications distributed through SCCM.

·         Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment.

·         Provide phone support to clients and provide friendly customer service to internal and external customers.

·         Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service personal computers (PC) or notebooks

Qualifications

Within this corporate IT environment, you will be required to have:

·         Associates degree or higher.

·         2+ years SCCM experience preferably with SCCM 2012R2

·         SCCM experience deploying to over 10 locations and more than 1,000 end points

·         Previous Windows 10 support experience

·         Experience with Power Shell

·         Previous OSX support experience

·         Experience with JAMF Pro

·         Ability to provide high level of customer service, problem resolution, and support for internal customers

·         Strong business, technical and analytical abilities and ability to use advance problem solving to find answers for customer issues

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle customer concerns over telephone or through personal contact.

·         Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize and complete work assignments.

·         Ability to handle a wide variety of customer service situations.

·         Ability and willingness to work outside of normal and traditional hours.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision, conferring with manager on unusual matters.

·         Ability to write, update and maintain locally developed documentation.

·         Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
