Minimum qualifications

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

• Experience working on a cross-functional team where there are different priorities constantly being balanced

• Enthusiasm and curiosity for conducting research and answering hard questions with data

• Experience with relational databases and SQL would be an asset

Hopper has officially launched a brand new category in travel - a suite of Fintech products beloved by customers that transform the economics of selling flights and hotels. While we have already secured over $100M of revenue in months, with an estimated market size of $80B and no competitors, the Hopper Cloud team is a once in a lifetime opportunity to establish a brand new category in the travel sector. 


About the job

As a Sr. Business Associate, you will work hand in hand with the Hopper Cloud Business Development and Product teams to dive deep into how the business unit can optimize its revenue & profitability with a primary focus on new business opportunities. You will evaluate new and existing business opportunities, identify new opportunities to focus BD efforts, add a strategic lens on the overall sales and implementation pipeline, and help the team focus resources in the right places. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical projects to support our Product and BD teams. Deliver quantitative results, business understanding and strategic insights to help make better data-driven decisions
  • Support our BD team by transforming complex information in short, compelling, and easy to understand analyses
  • Design and implement ad hoc and automated analysis scripts, develop and deliver your tables, charts and interactive tools to present your results
  • Work with key stakeholders across a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Today, Hopper is best known as a travel app. We're going to do about $1B in sales this year and weathered the COVID storm better than anyone expected. We just raised $170M from Goldman Sachs and Capital One, and inked a deal to be the exclusive travel provider for Capital One Travel.
