As our restaurant delivery dispatcher and customer service rep, you will work remotely to coordinate deliveries for our crew of drivers (70% of the role) and serve as the point of contact for delivery customer needs and concerns (30% of the role). To excel you will have a mix of strong computer skills and customer service experience so you can effectively and efficiently use our technology to dispatch orders while also providing top notch customer service to delivery customers. This is a great role for an entry level candidate looking to further develop skills and expertise.

What You'll Do

    • Monitor incoming delivery orders using software interface and dispatch orders to available drivers, following our dispatching process
    • Interface with customers in the case of delayed deliveries and resolving customer issues over the phone, text, email, instagram or twitter
    • Help with customer service and customer issues including responding to customer emails unrelated to delivery
    • Manage catering ordering over the phone and placing catering orders in Spyce catering system
    • Communicate regularly with restaurant General Managers to resolve customer issues
    • Perform other miscellaneous administrative duties

Who You Are

    • Willingness to go over and above to make a customer’s experience right
    • Comfortable and quick on a computer
    • Fast learner, problem solver, and ability to understand maps and geography quickly
    • Customer service skills, in particular the ability to resolve complaints or concerns quickly and with empathy
    • Friendly and outgoing with great communication skills over the phone
    • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends

The Fine Print

    • This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt job anticipated to average 35 - 40 hours per week.
    • This job will require some nights and weekend hours.
    • This role is a short-term W2 contract, anticipated to last six months. There is the possibility for long term extension based on performance and business need.
    • The compensation range for this job will be $14.00/hr - $15.00/hr dependent on experience and skill.
