About the role/ About the team:

At Drift we are customer centric to our core. Drift’s Professional Services Operations team is a key partner in the hypergrowth of our Professional Services Team and our broader Customer Team. Our mission is to build a consistently high-achieving, understood, and predictable revenue engine.

We’re looking for someone who can build our PS Ops function, and partner with our rapidly growing Professional Services and Onboarding teams. We create smooth internal processes, empower customer-facing teammates with data, and help our customers find value in Drift. The right candidate will bring Professional Services and Onboarding best practices, along with systems and reporting experience from the B2B domain. If you are a positive, curious and motivated person who likes a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has the urge to improve processes on an ongoing basis, you will enjoy being a member of the Drift Operations team.

What you will be doing on the Professional Services Ops Team:

  • Partnering with PS leadership across functions (Professional Services, Onboarding, Technical Solutions) to ensure that our various teams run smoothly and have the resources they need to succeed as we grow
  • Plan and execute resource allocation, optimizing and forecasting our team utilization
  • Manage and improve our operational systems, tracking infrastructure, and reporting
  • Play a crucial role in the design of customer implementation and service delivery programs and processes
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and deliver prescriptive recommendations to drive efficiencies across the org
  • Build key team processes, and work directly with Customer Team leaders on critical strategic, organizational, and operational projects

In one month, you’ll:

  • Go through extensive company-wide training on Drift’s industry, offerings, and customers
  • Meet with PS and Operations Leaders to understand current states of their businesses, and start to identify areas for improvement
  • Learn all key components of our customer journey, and our key customer implementation, health and retention metrics
  • Begin to attend and participate in key PS Operations routines

By month 3, you’ll:

  • Partner with our VP of Professional Services to build strategies that will scale the PS team globally
  • Deepen relationships with your PS Ops team members and PS leaders
  • Participate and start to take an ownership role of key PS Operations routines/cadences
  • Familiarize yourself with the customer assignment processes and each role’s responsibilities within the customer journey
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in our customer journey – where are things falling through the cracks? Where can we reduce friction?

By month 6, you’ll:

  • Own all key functions related to the operations of our Professional Services and Onboarding Teams
  • Translate any inefficiencies or gaps in our customer journey you have observed into actions to address them
  • Plan, execute, and measure specific PS projects and goals in conjunction with CS leaders

About you and what type of skills you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in Professional Services Operations,  CS Operations, or related functions in a B2B Technology organization
  • B2B company experience: scaling an organization through significant growth
  • Experience in key tech stack systems like Salesforce and Smartsheet
  • Experience with reporting and analysis tools (Excel/Sheets, SF Dashboards & Reporting, Looker/Tableau)
  • You are a self-starter with a voracious appetite to learn and grow
  • You are able to translate complex data into simple insights, and communicate them effectively
  • You are methodical in your routine and pride yourself in the accuracy of your work
  • You are curious -- you want to be the person who solves the problem
  • You are well spoken and your written and verbal communication is clear
  • You can adapt to rapidly-changing environments and work with cross-functional teams
