Teamcenter PLM Specialist
In this role, you will have tangible impact on the organization by aligning teams around best practices and engineering processes and supporting the implementation of these processes to make improvement opportunities a reality.
Responsibilities:
- Support Siemens Teamcenter PLM users in US/UK, with in-person and remote troubleshooting as the first point of contact
- Perform root cause analysis, debugging problems within the Teamcenter environment, and then work with the appropriate technical teams to develop, test, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence
- Ensure the accuracy of released engineering documentation and master data via data entry. auditing and approvals
- Manage user issues and requests relating to permissions, functionality, and questions and communicate on issues with users and leadership
- Develop training content and lead training activities on PLM best practices
- Investigate process improvements and make recommendations for system changes
- Work closely with regional superusers to define and document business requirements
- Develop and publish training programs and materials
- Deliver training classes to our end users.
Experience & Functional Knowledge:
- Is a creative problem-solver and self-starter: when you see something that’s inefficient, causing problems, or impacting people negatively, you go after resolving the issue and think creatively to find a solution
- Has 3-4 years’ experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM software and Administration
- Is familiar with CAD software (PTC Creo preferred)
- Can quickly & effectively think critically and communicate
- Is flexible in approach and strives to learn something new every day. Brings curiosity, energy, and diligence to the team.
- Has worked with 3rd party users such as contractors, consultants, suppliers and manufacturers
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or IT Management.
