Payment Optimization Manager

MineralTree’s headquarters is located in Waltham, MA with offices in Alpharetta GA, Redwood City CA, and Bengaluru, India. Our team currently has the option to work remotely due to COVID-19 and return to the office with a flexible schedule when it is safe to do so. Our Payment Optimization Manager can be based remotely or from one of our US office locations.
We are searching for a Payment Optimization Manager who will be responsible for a key component of our payments growth strategy and advancement of our supplier payments network. This client-facing role will drive revenue by working closely with our top customers to optimize their payments, including developing and executing supplier campaign strategies to maximize adoption of our virtual card and other payments products. Reporting to the Director of Payment Optimization, this highly visible and strategically important role is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on a fast-growing company in the hot fintech market.
Responsibilities:
-Routinely engage with clients throughout their lifecycle with MineralTree to understand their specific payment needs and how our payment solutions, including virtual card adoption, can most benefit them and their suppliers
-Conduct spend analysis of our clients’ supplier files, and consult with clients on supplier enablement strategies based upon this analysis and industry best practices
-Develop and execute customers’ supplier enablement campaigns
-Coordinate supplier outreach with our in-house supplier on-boarding team
-Facilitate direct outreach to key strategic suppliers as necessary
-Manage communication with clients on campaign progress and outcomes
-Engage and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure a positive client and supplier experience
-Critically evaluate the business processes related to the role, and suggest improvements where needed
-Other duties as required to support MineralTree’s and our customers’ success
Qualifications:
-3+ years of professional experience
-1+ years of experience in commercial credit card, ePayables, financial services, or merchant services, preferably in a customer management role
-Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and goals
-Proficiency in customer relationship management with exceptional written and oral communication skills
-High degree of energy and self-motivation
-Strong presentation skills
-Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple project and assignments simultaneously
-Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, take initiative, and drive results
-Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
-High standards of integrity
-Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
