Role Overview:

As we rapidly expand our services to more markets we are looking to grow our headquarters based Operations Team.  Our Boston based team of Operations Managers own a portfolio of individual mobility markets and work directly with local market operations teams to ensure the effective administration of our shared mobility programs nationwide.  In addition, Operations Managers work cross functionally with multiple internal teams (Account Management, Product, Sales) to ensure operations is effectively supporting company wide initiatives.

This role requires a hands on, jack-of-all-trades operational leader. Our ideal candidate is a creative strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, has experience managing operations teams, and thrives in environments where they are required to both execute, and drive results from those that work for them. This person must be ready to lead by example while coaching and growing a team to deliver results.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of a portfolio of shared mobility programs, often with multiple mobility vehicles in each market (pedal bike, scooter, and e-bike).  
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to local market operations leaders.
  • Rigorously track local market KPIs.  Identify leading indicators to issues, and mitigate them, and respond to other issues in real time by providing support to local market leaders.
  • Identify patterns across markets and share learnings across markets and throughout the operations organization.
  • Inject data driven decision making into day to day execution.  Develop meaningful performance metrics and create dashboards that track team performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years in a cross functional, operationally focused role
  • Prior experience in start up growth, operations strategy, or in other general management roles
  • Passion for building businesses, processes, KPIs, and teams
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role
  • Exceptional communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Proven track record of success in driving performance
  • Demonstrable experience thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Passion for transforming cities through shared mobility
  • Domestic travel up to 15% of the time
