Boston Microfluidics is seeking an Office Manager to be part of growing our team.

Under the direction of the COO and the Head of Human Resources, the Office Manager will be an important part of the Operations team by managing the day to day operations of the office. You’ll scale the abilities of our entire team by building and improving processes, and you’ll have your hands in many functional areas, including HR, Accounting, IT and Operations. Hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5PM.  

Boston Microfluidics recently took on substantial venture investment and we’re about to enter a period of high growth. Now is an excellent time for an ambitious person to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the office, such as managing building office key cards, submitting work order requests and resolving any building issues, coordinating with building owners.
  • Execute office-related requests such as office upkeep, greeting guests, answering phones, processing lunch and grocery orders, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and managing conference room reservations;
  • Providing event coordination for company events.
  • Assisting Human Resources with various projects.
  • Assisting with archiving documents, organization and storage management using Dropbox.
  • Coordinating company meetings, including equipment set-up, dial-in, and meeting minutes.
  • Support the Finance department with ordering processes and other activities as needed.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality on all matters related to the company..
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with the following programs: Dropbox, Adobe DC Reader, all Microsoft Office 365 applications and BambooHR, as well as the general use of technology
  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously on projects and prioritize appropriately
