We are seeking a Materials Manager, Spare Parts to administer service part supply for our global operations. You will be responsible for managing repair parts supply from factory to final delivery, ensuring all of our local markets’ part inventories are adequate to mitigate vehicle downtime while minimizing inventory carrying costs.


What you’ll do:

-Create and execute a buying plan based on forecasted demand, part lead times, and logistical and purchasing economies of scale to make sure that all of our fleets always have the parts they need to maximize the number of deployable vehicles Work with Central Operations Repair Manager to identify critical demand signals from local operations, and build out reporting functionality from CMMS to collect structured demand data 

-Work with Data Analytics team to forecast seasonal vehicle usage and fleet size

-Buy/build and maintain analytics tools to forecast month-over-month future demand based on historical data

-Work with Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts orders to worldwide 3PL’s for distribution to markets

-Administer 3PL inbound order entries and stocking levels

-Manage a small team responsible for in-market inventory accuracy and inventory management best practices, and outbound parts shipments from 3PL to markets

-Work with Central Operations Repair Manager to build out CMMS reporting to identify patterns of part failure that can inform FRB and Product team actions

-Conduct periodic reviews of vehicle BOMs and min/max quantities at defined market sizes, and revise stocking plans and case quantities accordingly

What we’re looking for:

-College degree in supply chain management OR equivalent experience

-5+ years of experience with demand forecasting and purchase planning

-APICS Planning and Inventory Management 6.0 or 7.0 Certification is a plus

-Familiarity with ERP and/or stand-alone demand forecasting and purchase planning software

-Advanced experience with Excel

-Comfortable working with remote teams

-Ability to organize and conduct work independently

-Fluent in English - additional fluency in a commonly spoken EU language a plus
