Manager, Off Platform Operations

Microbrands selling through marketplaces like Amazon are already transforming global retail - Amazon’s 3rd party marketplace alone was $300B in 2020. Central to our success is the ability to rapidly grow and optimize our brands after they join our platform. Creating and executing the Perch Playbook is one of the most challenging and important parts of our success as a company. We are looking for a talented contributor who has a track record of delivering results in ambiguous situations.
Responsibilities
This person will manage and optimize acquired businesses before they have fully integrated into the Perch supply chain platform.
- Work cross-functionally with upstream teams to seamlessly acquire operations that require a custom supply chain solve
- Lead operations workstreams for newly acquired businesses
- Partner with operations leaders to create and roll out short term business plans where opportunity exists
- Solve complex supply chain issues by streamlining activities where possible to prepare businesses for platform integration
- Utilize data and performance KPIs to manage the businesses within your portfolio
- Recognize and define process flows for operational health and future handoff for all new business units
- Identify and resolve any blockers for day to day workflows within businesses
About You
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, process-driven and action-oriented person to join our core operating team. The ideal candidate is a supply chain expert with experience running operations and implementing efficiencies in those operations. This person has a track record of bringing structure to something that is inherently messy, has corporate and field experience and is able to drive change. The candidate should be willing to travel.
