Responsibilities:
- Attend approximately half of the CEO’s meetings with direction from CEO’s Chief of Staff and Lead, Office of the CEO
- Work cross-functionally via project management and help manage financial analysis, presentations and own execution of work streams
- Synthesize decisions and updates for the CEO, including doing relevant analysis and communication with the organization as needed
- Support CEO with completing ad hoc analysis, providing information requested, and capturing action items in meeting
- Travel with the CEO as needed to support however is needed
- Create relevant preparation materials, plan logistics, and ensure exceptionally efficient execution on the ground
Competencies:
- Very smart and logical
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enough so to consistently present to executives
- High energy and hard working
- Basic business skills and knowledge
- Works well with colleagues across functions, including instilling accountability and motivation
- Excellent analytical potential. Ideally has some modeling and Excel skills
- Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance
- Able to draft first versions of summarized research and data gathering to support strategic initiative
- Excited by Indigo’s mission; believes that Indigo can fundamentally change the agriculture industry; can clearly articulate passion for our mission and values
Qualifications:
- 1.5-3 years of experience in a business analyst or similar position, ideally in consulting, banking, operating company, or a start-up
- Travel up to 30% of the time
- Based in Boston or Memphis
