We are presently seeking a talented and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to work in our Operations department. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience supporting various industrial and lab equipment along with building facilities.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
- Supporting the overall day to day operations of R&D and Pilot Production labs
- Conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on lab equipment as needed
- Supporting Director of Lab Operations with projects and facility upgrades
- Interacting with contractors to ensure projects and repairs are completed to specification
- Assisting in the documentation of procedures for repair, preventative maintenance and inspections
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of applicable Technician/Maintenance experience
- Experience with preventive maintenance of various building facilities support equipment – HVAC, basic electrical and plumbing, safety systems, air compressors
- Capable with various hand and power tools
- Ability to resolve issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experiences:
- Fork truck certification and experience
- Scissor lift certification and experience
- Experience with handling of metal powders and support equipment
- Experience with various industrial lifting equipment
- HAZWOPER certified and/or other safety certifications
