The Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Solution Architects have a multi-faceted focus to their work:
• Partner with various business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate program requirements into technical solutions and system designs for the responsible area
• Leverage industry standards, patterns, and best practices to develop architectures that fulfill business strategies for Cloud, IOT, AI and other leading technology concepts
• Drive the vetting of solutions, ultimately leading the vetting group to a decision point on which solution to implement. In some instances, the Solution Architect may need to stay involved with the project during the design & build phases, in order to coordinate and rationalize the various architecture approaches across the solution

 

Responsibilities

 

Job Description:

  • Perform architectural analysis and design for systems spanning the EDGE Product set including CRM, health plan administration, native cloud innovation, digital omnichannel and integration with partners and legacy platforms
  • Lead the research, design, testing, and evaluation of new technologies and vendor solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-enterprise product and engineering teams to imagine
  • Provide leadership and expertise in the development of standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and practices
  • Partner with senior IT and business leaders to provide strategic consultation for business process design/optimization, creating strategic roadmaps, performing rapid prototyping and implementing technical solutions to accelerate the realization of the business strategy
  • Researches and stay current on emerging digital technology trends from multiple creditable sources to assess relevance and then translate into strategy opportunities and tactical objectives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
  • Understanding of application, server, and network security and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP and HIPAA
  • SSD - Proficient at articulating key messages effectively, and guiding IT leaders and business partners on key concepts and strategies for enabling technology innovation.
  • Skillful in collaboration and diplomacy to ensure effective working relationships, build consensus across matrixed teams and work with external teams to negotiate data access.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • SSD –  In-depth knowledge of public cloud computing architectures and services.  Proficient in the use of cloud native technologies, cloud cybersecurity, and implementation patterns to lower costs, improve speed to market, increase efficiency, and enable innovation.
