The Role

Create a knowledge management system and establish a culture where sharing knowledge is easy and accessible at Akili. Support development with documenting the procedures and practices of building FDA regulated products. Combine skills of knowledge management, change management, and software development practices in order to support effective cross-functional collaboration on documentation and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Akili’s cross-functional teams to optimize and manage a document based knowledge management system
  • Build, own and operate the knowledge management system 
  • Cultivate and champion a culture where sharing knowledge is easy and accessible at Akili
  • Serve as technical writer and collaborator for video game development and regulatory quality management systems
  • Build organizational best practices around information architecture and standard operating procedures for Akili’s knowledge management at scale

Qualifications

  • 8 + years managing knowledge sharing programs, projects and teams related to the the different knowledge areas
  • 4+ years of technical writing experience
  • Has experience setting up a knowledge management system at one or more startups
  • Has worked closely with product and projects teams to write and organize product documentation - technical writing of standard operating procedures, work instructions and technical documentation
  • Excellent writing and editing skills - Writes clearly and concisely for a wide audience
  • Strong proficiency in Confluence Cloud, Google docs, Tresorit or other document storage and wiki type systems (Bonus: HTML, Jira and confluence administration)
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Understands environments with regulated practices or quality management systems
  • Comfortable when presenting to groups of people
  • Bonus: Experience working in a game development environment
