Junior Systems Administrator

The Junior Systems Admin will be the front line representative of the Systems Administration team. This role will be responsible for engaging with end users, intaking, troubleshooting, and assisting with issues. This role will also be responsible for assisting with larger scale projects such as software deployments, OS upgrades, and new technology being onboarded.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Monitor and respond to the System Admin ticket queue, Slack channels, and email distro.
- Manage ad hoc requests by intaking end user queries, directing users to SNOW to submit their issues, keeping tickets updated with recent status, and communicating with users on what to expect for support.
- Assist with ongoing testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure IT systems remain in good working order.
- Weekly Endpoint Compliance - review data and triage endpoints to make sure they are in good health and meet security requirements.
- Use management tools to confirm proper inventory practices are being followed.
- Help identify gaps in processes, and assist with documenting new SOPs.
- Assist with testing and deployment of new products in the IT environment.

- Skills: Customer service, endpoint/access/systems troubleshooting, ticketing queue management, and ability to pull reports and present data.
