Junior IT Helpdesk Technician
The Junior IT Helpdesk Technician is an initial point of contact for SmartBear employees to receive desktop support within the organization’s workstation computing environment. Primary responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and upgrading all desktop hardware & software, and addressing issues/tasks associated with the onboarding and offboarding of employees.
Job Overview
- Perform onsite or remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems for internal end-users
- Identify and recommend corrective solutions to repeat problems
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software
- Maintain IT Help Desk ticketing and Asset Management applications
- Be a key member of the various teams involved in onboarding & offboarding employees. This includes preparing equipment and accounts, performing training on systems and services for new hires, and ensuring that all SmartBear assets are recovered from departing employees and accounts disabled

Additional Requirement
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, and reside in the immediate Greater Boston area
Desired Experience
- GED or High School Diploma
- No experience required and will provide assistance in obtaining A+ Certification.
