Here's your opportunity to provide world-class IT support for a fast-growing Boston startup (located just steps away from Boston’s South Station). Your mission will be to help our team become as productive as possible, by maintaining our IT infrastructure and knowledge base, and working on a variety of day-to-day support tasks including the set up and provisioning of laptops (mostly Macs), mobile devices (iOS and Android), HP printers, office phones, and video conferencing (Zoom and Meeting OWL). As our first dedicated Systems / IT Support Admin, you’ll work with our newly hired Head of Information Technology, helping us build out a robust support infrastructure that’s able to grow as we grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain infrastructure and computing environments for internal end-users, including SaaS software configurations, network security, hardware/software setup and maintenance, etc.
  • Help to assess current IT infrastructure and make suggestions for possible upgrades and improvements.
  • Monitor technology trends and evaluate emerging new technologies for adoption and implementation.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and process, including ordering/provisioning laptops and equipment.
  • Provide technical support for MacBooks, iOS, and Android devices, as well as Enterprise SaaS applications, including provisioning new user accounts.
  • Support and maintain conference room A/V systems; manage conferencing setup for our daily “stand-up” and weekly “all-hands” meetings.
  • Help keep track of IT inventory and enforce asset tracking and device management best-practices globally.
  • Communicate with internal team members at every level on a day-to-day basis.
  • Perform hands-on work as needed (end user support, troubleshooting, HW/SW installs, upgrades, IT projects)
  • Collaborate and lead IT Projects and Initiatives.
  • Help to set up and automate business processes and helpdesk workflows.
  • Assist with SaaS application integrations and automation.
  • Create new procedures in compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate with a degree and/or has completed a certification program focused on Information Technology/Information Systems/Information Security
  • 1+ years experience in a corporate IT environment
  • 1+ years experience managing Apple devices and other computer hardware, ideally in corporate environments.
  • 1+ years managing cloud SaaS products (Google Apps, Slack, etc.).
  • 1+ years utilizing TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN protocols in cloud based environments (GCP/AWS/ VMware).
  • 1+ years supporting users (end user support, troubleshooting, security HW/SW installs, upgrades, IT/Helpdesk projects); with ability to provide world-class customer service using excellent communication and tact

Pluses

  • Experience Working in a SaaS Startup.
  • College Graduate in Information Technology/Information Systems/Information Security.
  • Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA)
  • Google Certified Administrator
  • SWIFT/LINUX
  • AWS Certification
  • ISO 27001/SOC II Type II experience
  • Technical program or Project Management experience a plus
  • Desire to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
