Reporting to the Sr. Product Director of the Precision Imaging Network line of Business,the Innovation Manager will be part of driving the growth strategy for Nuance's market leading reporting & AI platform.
PIN is an AI-powered cloud platform that delivers patient-specific data and insights from diagnostic imaging into clinical and administrative workflows across the healthcare ecosystem. Leveraging the scale of Nuance'sPowerScribe andPowerSharediagnostic imaging solutions, the Nuance Precision Imaging Network connects imaging stakeholders and facilitates the use of AI to inform precision diagnostics and therapeutics, increase clinician efficiency, and lower overall healthcare costs.
We are looking for adriven, intrapreneurialInnovation Managerto join ourAI Marketplace team.This is a high growth business division working onadvancing the practice of medicine through the application of AI technologies in workflow.You will be responsible for leading initial client implementations, beta engagements, and partnering with sales and the CSO organization to ensure readiness for future scaling of marketplace offerings.This role will lead all aspects of initial program implementations to meet agreed upon milestones and deliverables, represent the program to the organization, report core team progress, communicate program recommendations, risks, and resolution of issues to senior leadership.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead initial client facing implementation projects for full life cycle to ensure success.
  • Build a repeatable implementation process and design an organization readiness plan to support the scaling of expected Marketplace growth.
  • Work with sales in early accounts to identify the use cases and outline needs with customer to ensure success.
  • Lead cross-functional core teams and development activities to meet program objectives including scope, objectives, and schedule. Core responsibilities include:
  • Project planning and contracting
  • Resource planning
  • Regular executive status updates
  • Creating and maintaining schedules
  • Provides leadership to design/development teams to deliver on goals for assigned development programs.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization (internal and external) regarding the objectives, risks, and needs for the program.
  • Identify potential roadblocks early and implement counter measures.
  • Develop plans with core members to eliminate and/or mitigate risk. If risks cannot be mitigated within the core team, determine appropriate means to communicate and elevate issues to appropriate individuals within the organization.
  • Contributes to program strategy & roadmap planning.
  • Maintains regular touchpoints and manages the overall relationship with key innovation partners.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Healthcare or related field.


EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of end to end program management experience in Engineering, R&D, and/or IT within a medical device/biomedical or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading client facing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with project stakeholders (client and internal), end-users, business partners, and technical team members to ensure proper systems and plan alignment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels in the organization.
  • Previous experience working in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project, FHIR, HL7, and DICOM.


Preferred

  • Extensive radiology industry experience.
  • Program/Project Management certifications.
