As part of the Data Protection Program, you will lead the Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention strategy, requirements definition, proof of concepts for new tools and technologies and work closely with the security engineering team and security architects to evolve DLP and other security tools. You will have experience with or seeking to implement non-traditional security controls, leveraging data science and event-driven DLP decisions as part of the Data Protection Program. What success looks like.
Possess a strong background in the area of Data Loss Prevention, DLP risks, DLP technical controls for data at rest, in motion and in transit, non-traditional security controls, DLP technologies
A strong desire to leverage data science and decision models to enhance DLP and integrate with user behavior analytics.
Demonstrated experience writing standards and control procedures
Works on complex problems that include analysis of situations and data
Strong communicator spanning both technical and business stakeholders
Possess a strong IT background with in depth knowledge of several key security practice areas: data loss prevention, security analytics, applications
Demonstrated ability to complete complex projects on time and on budget

Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo
Act in the capacity of a business lead for the DLP strategy and implementation
Ability to drive and measure program success through KPI's and metrics
Stay abreast of new trends and attack vectors
Collaborate with data protection engineering, security architecture, IT, data governance, privacy and compliance
Demonstrate knowledge in the area of Data Loss Prevention, DLP risks, DLP technical controls, DLP technologies, security best practices standards (ISO, NIST, COBIT), and audit and regulatory frame works
Strong documentation skills are also crucial to successful process and project delivery

8 years of experience in IT Leadership, Change Management, or Cyber Security
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or Mathematics
Hands on experience with DLP is preferred
Experience in securities or financial services preferred
Industry certifications such as; CISSP/SSCP, GSEC, or GCIH a plus
Experience leading implementation teams or hands on implementation of DLP, network architecture or endpoint protection
