We are looking for a Hyperion Administrator to join our Finance and Accounting team!

Reporting to the Sr. FP&A Manager, this Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will support two different functions at TripAdvisor, spending 50% of their time working with SQL and Tableau, and 50% of their time managing our Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with both finance professionals and IT server administrators. You must have the experience to listen to a request or issue expressed by the business and design/implement the appropriate solution.

Responsibilities:

• Updating and maintaining SSIS packages that transfer data between our various systems (Workday, SQL, Hyperion)
• Updating and maintaining SSRS reports
• Schedule and maintain jobs that populate finance’s set of SQL tables
• Manage Hyperion environment from top to bottom
• Maintain and develop dimensions, hierarchies, partitions, business rules, load rules, existing SSIS packages, data backups, data transfers and user security
• Analyze, manage, develop and maintain Essbase cubes
• Write and maintain calc scripts, shell scripts and MAXL scripts
• Ownership of recurring month-end processes (loading actuals from Workday into Hyperion, forecast rollover process, metadata updates, synchronization of headcount tool and Hyperion)
• Ensure system performance and availability
• End-user support
• Troubleshooting of critical processes
• Ad-hoc reporting support

Skills: 7+ years of combined experience will all of the items listed below

• Strong experience in relational databases (e.g. Microsoft or Oracle SQL)
• Proficiency in writing queries, scripts and stored procedures in SQL
• Hands on experience with ETL tools (SSIS)
• Knowledge of SSRS reports
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Knowledge of ASP .Net applications is a plus
• Strong experience with administration and development of Hyperion Planning and Essbase
• Strong experience writing and maintaining calc scripts, shell scripts and MAXL scripts
• Experience with Hyperion EPM 11.1.2.4
• Experience with installation of upgrades and patches
• Basic Windows and Linux server administration
• Ability to communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and issue resolution
• A problem-solving mindset; the individual should be highly motivated and self-directed

Education: BS or BA (or equivalent) in computer science, finance, or accounting.
