Title: Head of Ambulatory and Accountable Care Solutions

Location: Boston

PatientPing is a venture-backed health technology company based in Boston, MA that is transforming healthcare delivery. We are building a national network that connects providers with real-time notifications when their patients receive care anywhere, so that providers can better coordinate patient care. Our customers include hundreds of health systems, physician organizations, and post-acute care providers nationally.

Job Description:

PatientPing is a network-effect SaaS platform that serves many customer segments in the healthcare continuum: Hospitals/EDs, Post-Acute Organizations, Outpatient providers, ACOs & Payers. You will be part of the Network Strategy team and be the overall owner for our product and business success in the Outpatient and Accountable Care settings. 

You will become a deep domain expert in the risk based payment models, population health and outpatient care settings and will immerse yourself in data collection and industry research to draw insights and create business and product opportunities for PatientPing. You are able to create data-driven synthesized recommendations and persuasively communicate your recommendations to the rest of the PatientPing team. You are commercially focused and comfortable in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment. Most importantly, you are passionate about helping create a better healthcare delivery system.

What Success Looks Like:

In 3 Months:

• Develop deep familiarity and assume ownership of value proposition, pricing, and positioning of all products offered to the Ambulatory care/ACO customer segments.

• Inventory business opportunities, risk-based payment models and ancillary pain points for provider groups and health systems entering ACO and other at-risk arrangements.

In 6 Months:

• Collaborate with marketing and sales to accelerate growth of current offering through improvements to packaging, promotions, and pricing improvements.

• Deliver recommendations for business segment roadmap through analytical rigor.

• Create a business strategy and plan for increasing network engagement and revenue for the Accountable Care/Outpatient Care business segment.

In 12 Months:

• Outperform Accountable Care/Outpatient Care revenue plan.

What You Need:

• You have a successful track record of owning a solutions portfolio in the healthcare space.

• You have deep understanding of the business environment and payment models (fee-for-service and value-based care) in which providers and health systems operate. 

• You have a good understanding of outpatient clinical/care management workflows.

• You have five years of experience working in healthcare companies (Provider, Hospital, Payer, Vendor, Non-profit or related).

• BA/BS degree. Masters degree in Business or Health Sciences a plus.

• You are able to explain complex topics in simple terms.

• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• You have demonstrated ability to drive revenue and growth metrics.
